During flood events: Water is allowed to enter and exit without pressure buildup. Structural performance of the residence is preserved
The Sea Haven platform maintains its amphibious behavior. Optional floating floor systems can be added for additional vehicle protection where appropriate.
Designed to align with common floodplain principles, including free water flow, non-habitable ground-level use, and separation of structural and enclosure systems.

Unlike traditional “house-on-stilts” designs, this system uses widened structural base modules on either side of a clear-span center bay—creating a refined, modern ground-level presence without compromising flood adaptability.

How the System Works
1. Structural Base Modules
Two widened Sea Haven base containers sit at ground level, acting as the primary load-bearing and buoyant elements.
2. Clear-Span Garage / Workshop
A fully enclosed center bay provides secure vehicle storage or workspace—without carrying residential loads.
3. Elevated Living Levels
Two Sea Haven residential levels above are supported by a structural transfer deck that bypasses the garage entirely.
Key: All structural loads are carried by the base modules—not the garage enclosure.
